Who We Are

The Creative Arts Parent Association (CAPA) is the only volunteer parents’ group committed solely to supporting and promoting the visual and performing arts at Wayland High School.

CAPA is best known for organizing the College A Cappella Concerts in fall and spring. The concerts are our greatest source of fund-raising and are beloved community events.

We help fund the arts at WHS

CAPA awards grants for music, theater, visual arts and dance to support creative initiatives at Wayland High School such as:

  • Master classes
  • Special requests: Music composition/editing software, Blackbox theater lighting, display panels for student art exhibitions, theater costumes, choral accompanist, scholarships, etc.
  • Varsity-style fine arts jackets
  • Fine Arts Night: Awards ceremony and celebration
